Patchworx from Loopmasters is a new concept which presents fresh and exclusive collections of hand crafted patches for the most popular soft synths, direct from the studios of our best producers and artist contacts. This title includes 60 custom made patches and also comes with 60 ready to edit midi files from the packs creators.
Patchworx 06 – Tech Funk Synths for Massive, is a collection of Bass, FX and Leads exclusively created by Meat Katie, one of the most respected producers in the Tech Funk scene right now.
South-west Londoner Mark Pember (AKA Meat Katie) has had a long history in Dance music. In his time he has recorded for such prestigious labels such as Wall of Sound, R&S Records , Kingsize, Bedrock, Perfecto, Great Stuff, Renaissance, Saw Pember has also remixed for / collaborated with Arthur Baker, U.N.K.L.E, Deep Dish, D.Ramirez, Peace Division, Chicken Lips, Robbie Rivera & James Zabelia, to name but a few.
In detail producers should expect to find here a great selection of patches which are designed to complement Drum & Bass and Dubstep productions, but will of course work well for other styles also.
The 64 Massive Patches included in this pack are comprised of 30 Lead Basses, 10 FX Presets, 24 Lead Synths– and 64 MIDI Files.

Please ensure you have the latest version/s of the Compatible Software Synth before installing the presets to ensure the highest compatibility. All the MIDI and Presets have been created by top producers to give you the most flexible Loopmasters package yet.
MIDI FILES
Once you have downloaded and extracted the main folder from the .zip file, Copy the extracted folder to a safe place on your computer making sure you note where this is and what it is called the pre fix will start with “PW_” and then be followed a number and then with the packs full name. so for instance PW_01_Davide_Carbone_DnB_Massive.
To Load the included MIDI files on most DAW’s you will need to either go to the file open tab on your chosen software and use the Import Midi File option or drag and drop any of the .Mid files into your arrangement/session window onto a new track. For you to be able to here anything at this stage you now need to assign some kind of instrument to that track be it a software or hardware synth of your choice, Please check your Instructions of you relevant DAW if you are unsure how to do this. The name of the MIDI file includes the type of instrument that would sound best, and the original Key of any melodic MIDI loops but feel free to experiment with Instrument types and Alter the programming to fit your tracks.
LOADING VST/PLUG IN SYNTH PRESETS
Once you have downloaded and extracted the main folder from the .zip file, Copy the extracted folder to a safe place on your computer making sure you note where this is and what it is called the pre fix will start with “PW_” and then be followed a number and then with the packs full name. so for instance PW_01_Davide_Carbone_DnB_Massive. Open your DAW of Choice and load an Instance of the Applicable VST Plug In or Instrument. Simply then use the Instruments file load browser to locate the Patchworx folder you previously copied to your computer. Then Inside that folder locate the “Presets” folder here you will find the relevant presets and or bank files for that Instrument. It may be possible for you to copy the Patchworx presets folder into the relevant Instruments Main Library folder so all your presets are saved into one place, to do this please read the Software Manual included with your Instrument to find the location of this folder.
In The Browser within the Massive Instrument, Locate the Loopmasters Massive Presets pack you have downloaded. Once you highlight the presets folder the presets will appear in the presets window. Simply double click a preset to load.
NOTE: From Massive 1.3 onwards NI changed the format of the patch files from .KSD to .NMSV
NMSV files will only work in Massive 1.3 onwards
To Import KSD Files into Massive 1.3 from the file tab select KSD Batch Convert, then locate the folder of presets and Massive will convert the files to .NMSV so you can use them in Massive 1.3+. To load them simply locate the new converted files from the Massive browser and double the preset you wish to load.
